1. First download and install SFE. 2. Download and unzip Optimum ReShade, but before copying my files, rename my reshade dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll and save all 3 files to the main Fallout 76 folder. It is the most effective and it works. Use OPTIMUM RESHADE, which is the original preset and was created for that purpose.

Please be aware that the use of such applications may result in Fallout 76 not functioning properly. Their official statement on mods. Hopefully this is easy enough to follow. The one caveat to setting it up this way is that all vulkan games that won't let reshade write files to the game directory will now point to this no man's sky folder in reshade centralized. That's a very specific situation though and probably won't be an issue unless more vulkan games come to game pass.
